Would my CPU run the Sims 3?

The CPU is fine, the RAM is fine, definitely DO NOT get the Intel card, those are not suited for gaming. The game will work but the results may not be good. Get the Radeon card though I'm not sure how they compare to Nvidia since I use the latter. I use a 9600GT and I'm pretty sure the game will run at max with no problems so use that as a starting point. You shouldn't worry too much, Sims 3 is not what you call a hardware intensive game like Crysis.
