Pls Help! Where's the best place to buy iPhone 3g? ATT or Apple Store? What time to stand in line for it???

Since the AT&T stores are going to open at 8am to start selling the phone, it wouldn't surprise me if the Apple stores didn't open early too. Call the Apple store in the mall just to be sure (I'd hate to stand in line for 5 hours) and see what time they are going to actually open. I'm excited too!
