Need help for a horse with COPD please repond if you know of any treatments or cures Thank you.?

26 yrs old TB gelding has just developed terrible bouts of coughing and farting at the same time!!! The Vet told us he has come down with COPD we need help with a treatment or cures that anyone may know of??? Please respond....Thank you for any help you can offer...
