Does he like me and just too shy to tell me or what?

I like this guy and i think he knows.. i have been texting him but he doesnt seem to like it at all, yet at school he makes alot of eye contact with me like i would be walking up the corridor and he would see me and if if i looked around he'd be looking and this has happened numerous and i'm sure he's interested in me...I gave my friend his number and she text him askin him did he like me and he calls a wreck head and a fool :( so why is he sayin this if he likes me?my freind then asked him why do u think shes a foola nd he said because shes always texting me and my freind replyed by saying thats because she like u and then she said to him u wouldnt know a good thing if it hit you in tha face and he never replyed..im confused why is looking at me if he doesnt like me or does he like me and why is he acting like this if so????
