Would I have Gestational Diabetes if my mom did?

My mom had gestational diabetes when she gave birth to my brothers and I. I am currently 10 weeks pregnant today and I don't see my OB for the first time until Nov. 3rd (I'M VERY EXCITED!!!) Would her having it be hereditary?
