WHY do we have a legal system ?? clearly it doesnt work well?

whew.. my eyes hurt. - yes, i see where you are coming from. the system IS broken, but works well in many ways too. - i will say that i would prefer to have a drug dealer living next to me than a child molester. - although, we know that won't happen because drug dealers get life......, the child molester will be out in 5. - blah....... makes me sick...
