What is the best way to place a winning bet in vegas?

I like to play slots, blackjack and craps mostly, but that's small stuff. If I wanted to place a simple, $100 bet on something for excitement, what would the best game be? I was thinking roulette's red/black or odd/even bet for even money; that's as simple as it gets. Though I thought I should get more opinions. Thanks.
