My conure freaks out when i play music?

i usually like to play music when im bored but when i do he starts to freak out and squawk really loud and i normlly turn it off because i think he hates it but im not sure wht does it mean when he does this ( hes a green cheek conure , im not sure of the gender i just guess, hes like 6-7 months old)
